TREND REPORT Fall/Winter 2013-2014: Part 7 / Часть 7

Последний месяц осени подходит к концу, но еще не время расслабляться и впадать в зимнюю спячку. Нынешний сезон богат любопытными трендами, которые способны оживить даже самый базовый наряд.

The last month of autumn is about to end, but it's not the time to relax and to go into winter hibernation. This season is rich in curious trends that can revive even the most basic outfit.

12) Оттенки белого / Shades of white

It's not the first season that a very tricky white color captures the rights for a "total white look". If you touch the white color or its shades it's very important to preserve the right proportions, to combine garments with an unusual cut and to mix different textures in your outfit. Such manipulations will help you to look really chic and not boring at all.

Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. Schiaparelli и Prada: Невозможные Беседы.

Elsa & Miuccia
On February 24, the Metropolitan museum of Art hosted a press event in Milan to reveal an upcoming exhibition: Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. Some objects selected for the exhibition were shown to the guests.

This exposition will take place from May 10 till August 19 in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and will present a selection of models from Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. It will include 90 sketches and 30 accessories created by Elsa from the 1920s to the 1950s and by Miuccia from the 1980s to the current day. This retrospective will be completed by a number of videos about two unusual women.
"A love for art and breaking the rules unite us,” says Prada. Two designers are known for their provocative ideas, as well as for their love to artistic movements: surrealism for Schiaparelli and contemporary art for Prada. Prada also added : "These are two such different periods that, honestly, I see more differences than similarities."
