UFW: Fresh Fashion

Совершенно случайно попала вчера с подругами на показ Kseniya Mamedova. Об этом дизайнере узнала впервые. Не могу выразить однозначно свое мнение насчет понравилась мне коллекция или нет, но определенные вещи явно заслуживали внимания. Один существенный недостаток - пока не видно собственного стиля именно этого дизайнера, хочется увидеть следующие коллекции и тогда уже сделать вывод.

Весь показ состоял из коллекций трех дизайнеров (Mamedova, Zhukova, Kalinichenko) и длился около 40 минут. Kseniya Mamedova была первой и, среди них, пожалуй, единственной, кто вызвал мой интерес. 

Показы двух следующих дизайнеров никак, кроме как принудительно, смотреть не заставишь. Зрители зевали и закатывали глаза, а некоторые даже ушли не дождавшись окончания. Второму дизайнеру хочется посоветовать не делать вещей, которые можно купить где-нибудь, вроде Promod. А третьему - не стоит шить платья из тканей, похожих на шторы и банные полотенца.

 

Yesterday absolutely accidentally I attended the fashion show of Kseniya Mamedova with my friends. It was the first time I heard about this designer. I can't express yet my opinion about whether I liked the collection or not, but some pieces really deserved attention. A very big minus was that I couldn't see the specific style of this designer, I'd like to see her next collections and to make my conclusion after.

The whole show consisted of 3 collections from three different designers (Mamedova, Zhukova, Kalinichenko) and lasted around 40 minutes. Kseniya Mamedova was the first one and the only one, who attracted my attention.

The shows of the two following designers could be watched only forcibly. The spectators were yawning and rolling up their eyes, some of them even left before the show was over. The second designer needs an advice not to create things that could be found in some place like Promod. And the third one - doesn't have to use fabrics that look like curtains or bathroom towels.

UFW: KamenskayaKononova F/W 2012-2013

15 марта я посетила два показа: KamenskayaKononova и Litkovskaya, которой я посвятила предыдущий пост.

Касательно показа KamenskayaKononova, хотелось бы сразу отметить, что с третьего ряда фотографировать просто невероятно неудобно, плюс, на показе был очень яркий передний свет и с моего места вещи отсвечивали и выглядели одним сплошным пятном(
Поэтому пришлось взять фотографии с официального сайта Ukrainian Fashion Week (http://fashionweek.ua/gallery).

Дизайнеры Наталья Каменская и Олеся Кононова представили коллекцию, которую я бы охарактеризовала такими словами, как строгость, четкость и лаконичность. Видно вдохновение из различных направлений и источников. Элементы милитари прекрасно передают строгость и, даже, некоторую мрачность образов. В то же время сделан весьма женственный акцент на талии, что помогает сгладить силуэт. Также, в коллекции немалую долю занимают эксперименты с тканями, с их смешением и использованием.

Коллекция, преимущественно, в темных тонах, для контраста и графичности присутствуют белый, молочный и оранжевый. И конечно же нельзя не отметить массивные серьги, которые, на мой взгляд, выглядели довольно громоздко.

Вцелом, понравились современные элементы, в виде необычных рукавов и вставок на пиджаках и пальто, а еще понравилось сочетание черного с насыщенным оранжевым, это значительно оживило всю коллекцию.

KamenskayaKononova F/W 2012-2013

On March 15 I visited two fashion shows: KamenskayaKononova and Litkovskaya (I wrote about her in my previous post).

Concerning KamenskayaKononova I'd like to mention that it is extremely uncomfortable to take pictures from the third row, in addition there was a very intense front light and from my place clothes were reflecting and looked like a big spot(

Designers Nataliya Kamenskaya and Olesya Kononova have presented the collection that I'd characterize with such words as rigidity, sharpness and laconism. We see the inspiration from the different sources and directions. Military elements perfectly transmit rigidity and in some way even darkness of the looks. At the same time there is a very feminine accent on the waist line which helps to soften a bit a silhouette. The experiments with fabrics, their mix and usage occupy not a small part in the collection.

The collection is mostly in dark shades. To create the contrast and to add some graphicness there are white, milk and orange colors used. And of course I can't forget to mention the big massive earrings that in opinion looked quite heavy.

To sum up I liked the modern details in the shapes of unusual sleeves and some parts in jackets and coats. One more thing I liked is the combination of such colors as black and saturated orange, this revived significantly the collection.

UFW: Litkovskaya F/W 2012-2013

Показ Украинского дизайнера Liliya Litkovskaya каждый сезон собирает на первых рядах большое количество звездных гостей. И этот не стал исключением. Посмотреть коллекцию пришли звезды шоу-бизнеса, моды, редакторы глянцевых журналов и просто светские люди. Были и иностранные гости, лично мне удалось расслышать английскую и французскую речь.

Показанная коллекция была настолько универсальна, что способна с легкостью вписаться, практически, в любой гардероб. Дизайнер использовала различные эксперименты с формой и пропорциями. Ей удалось создать четкий и лаконичный силуэт. Цветовая гамма включала серебряный, серый, белый, глубокий красный и небольшие вкрапления желтого и синего цветов, но доминирующим, безоговорочно, был черный. Очень интересной, также, была обувь с необычным, как бы удлиненным, носком. 

После показа гостей пригласили на afterparty в Люди Casual Food, там собралась очень креативная тусовка. 

Litkovskaya F/W 2012-2013

The fashion show of the Ukrainian fashion designer Liliya Litkovskaya each season gathers a big amount of star guests in the front row. This show was not an exclusion. A lot of show-biz and fashion stars, magazine editors and high-society people came to see the collection. There were also some international guests, I personally heard english and french speech.

The presented collection was so adaptable that could perfectly fit almost any wardrobe. Designer used different experiments with shapes and proportions. She managed to create a clean laconic silhouette. The color range included silver, grey, white, deep red and little touches of yellow and blue colors. But black was unconditionally dominating. The shoes were also very interesting: the toecap was like elongated.

After the show guests were invited to the afterparty in People Casual Food, where a very creative company has gathered.

Итак, сегодняшний показ позади и впечатлений, как обычно, море. Лично я очень люблю саму атмосферу на неделях моды: все эти разноодетые люди, светские гости, журналисты и фотографы, охотящиеся за уникальным материалом, в общем, мне нравится, каждый раз видишь что-то новое и необычное.

На следующий сезон осень/зима 2012-2013 дизайнер, Anna Bublik, предлагает одеваться в классический силуэт. Она представила нам элегантные женственные образы, с юбками, спускающимися от линии талии до длины, чуть ниже, колена, дополняемые контрастирующими аксессуарами. Тоненький поясок на талии в тон к перчаткам, сумочке или туфлям, оттенял и придавал изюминку классическому покрою. Что же касается макияжа и прически к подобным нарядам, то достаточно аккуратно подчеркнуть достоинства с помощью неброского макияжа, а волосы собрать в элегантный пучок, который смотрится роскошно и для дневного, и для вечернего лука. 

Также, было представлено несколько мужских выходов. В них была использована фишка, присущая брэнду Анна Бублик - классика, дополненная современностью. Особенно понравилось красное стеганое пальто. 

После, была afterparty в Skybar, во время которой были показаны вечерние платья Anna Bublik Couture. Показ получился очень оригинальным: модели дефилировали прямо на барной стойке. В коллекции были представлены, в основном, длинные платья в пол с изящными драпировками и обильным декором камнями. Красиво, особенно для вечернего выхода: камни мерцают и переливаются, а драпировки, подчеркивают достоинства фигуры.

Well, today's fashion show is behind and, as usual, I am full of impressions. I personally like very much the atmosphere during the fashion weeks: all these people dressed in such a different way, all the high-society guests, journalists and photographers hunting for a unique material, to sum up, I am loving it. Each time you see something extraordinary and new.

For the next Fall/Winter 2012-2013 season designer Anna Bublik suggests to wear a classic silhouette. She has presented the feminine looks with skirts going from the waist line to the under knee line and contrasting accessories. The thin belt, adjusted on the waist, the same color as gloves, bag or shoes, was emphasizing and giving an uniqueness to the classic cut. Concerning the makeup and the hair for such outfits it's enough to carefully underline your best facial features and to gather your hair into an elegant topknot which looks chic both for evening and day look.

Also, we saw few masculine looks presented. They had a very Anna Bublik feature - classic mixed with modernity. Most of all I liked the red quilted coat.

After the show there was an afterparty in Skybar, where Anna Bublik Couture evening dresses were presented. The fashion show was very original: models were walking directly on the bar counter. Collection contained mostly long maxi dresses with a refined draping and an intense jewel decoration. It's beautiful, especially for an evening outfit: the jewels glimmer and shine and the draping underlines the best parts of your silhouette.

Дизайнер Анна Бублик родом из Львова. Начала свой творческий путь с учебы во Львовской Академии Искусств на кафедре моделирования костюма. В 2002 переехала в Киев, где и открыла сначала свою имидж студию, а после и всем известный шоу-рум на Лютеранской 33.
Я бы охарактеризовала ее стиль как - элегантная утонченность классики, грациозная современность со стремлением к идеальности силуэта.

Fashion designer Anna Bublik was born in Lvov. She started her creative way in Lvov Art Academy at the chair of costume modeling. In 2002 she moved to Kiev, where she opened first her image-studio and after her well-known show-room at 33 Luteranskaya street. 

I'd characterize her style as an elegant refinement of classics, graceful modernity with an aspiration to a perfect silhouette.

Ukrainian Fashion Week: Day 1

Сегодня стартует Украинская неделя моды. В мои планы входит посетить показы таких дизайнеров, как: Anna Bublik, KamenskayaKononova, Litkovskaya, Elena Burenina и Borovik.

Буду держать вас в курсе и постараюсь как можно быстрее публиковать фотоотчеты.

Первый показ в моем списке - показ Anna Bublik, сегодня в 19:00, также я собираюсь посетить показ вечерних платьев Anna Bublik Couture, который пройдет, в этот же день, в Skybar.

Today starts Ukrainian Fashion Week. I have in my plans to visit the shows of such designers, as: Anna Bublik, KamenskayaKononova, Litkovskaya, Elena Burenina and Borovik. I'll keep you updated and I'll do my best to cover them as quickly as possible.

The first show on my list is the show of Anna Bublik today at 7 PM, in addition I am going to visit her evening dresses fashion show, Anna Bublik Couture, which is going to take place on the same day in Skybar.

Chic and Balmain

По-настоящему шикарную коллекцию представил нам Balmain. Геометрические формы, в сочетании со средневековыми орнаментами, плюс, богатые ткани, бархат, жемчуг, золото -  действительно видна кропотливая работа. Дизайнеру дома, Oliver Rousteig, удалось создать сбалансированные силуэты, используя основной акцент только на верхней части образа. За счет этого, обильные вышивки не смотрятся громоздко. Помню красивые, расшитые золотом, пиджаки из прошлого сезона, свиду смотрелись элегантно и изящно, подвох заключался исключительно в их весе. Надеюсь в этом сезоне дизайнер не допустил ту же ошибку. Но это мы узнаем только, когда коллекция поступит в продажу...

A really chic collection has presented Balmain. Geometric shapes in combination with medieval ornaments, in addition to rich fabrics, velvet, pearls, gold - we see a very scrupulous work. Oliver Rousteig, designer of Balmain, has managed to create balanced silhouettes, by putting the main impact only on the upper part of the look. Thanks to this, intense embroideries don't look heavy. I remember beautiful, embroidered with gold, jackets from the previous season, that looked from the first sight elegant and refined, the only trick was their weight. I hope this season designer hasn't made the same mistake. But this we will know only when collection arrives in stores...

Интересный выбор темы в коллекции Chanel осень/зима 2012...

Камни, минералы, кристаллы, пещеры, геометрические формы, пост-апокалиптичные нотки в музыке и атмосфере. В обзорах этой коллекции журналисты, блоггеры и другие представители прессы пишут, что в этом сезоне Карл Лагерфельд "взял их в путешествие к центру Земли".

Интересное совпадение - дипломная работа моего курса, в университете ESMOD Paris, представленная в июне 2011, была задана университетом и звучала как - "Путешествие к центру Земли". 

Это предсказания Майя на 2012 так на всех действуют?)

Very interesting theme selection in Chanel collection for Fall 2012...

Stones, minerals, crystals, graves, geometric shapes, post-apocalyptic feel in music and atmosphere. In the collection reviews journalists, bloggers and other press representatives write that this season Karl Lagerfeld "took them on a journey to the center of the Earth".

An interesting coincidence - the diploma work of my course in ESMOD Paris university, presented in June 2011, was imposed by a university and sounded like - "Journey to the center of the Earth".

Is that Maya predictions for 2012 affecting everyone?)

Salvatore Ferragamo

Всевозможные вариации пальто и пиджаков, вдохновленные военной униформой, представлены в коллекции Salvatore Ferragamo. Несмотря на смешение разнообразных фактур: бархат, шерсть, кожа, коллекция смотрится целостно. Ключевой акцент сделан на подчеркнутой талии. 

All the possible variations of coats and jackets, inspired by military uniform, are presented in Salvatore Ferragamo collection. Despite the mix of different textures: velvet, wool and leather, collection looks integrally. The key impact is done on underlined waistline.
