Запоминающимся событием апреля стал показ нового для меня дизайнера Elena Golets, который проходил в живописном месте, практически в самом центре Андреевского спуска.
Всегда любила это место, поэтому прогулка до Arcane Art Gallery, где собственно и проходил показ, уже сама по себе стала отличным завершением рабочего дня и предвкушала приятные эмоции.
A memorable event of April has become a fashion show of a designer, that is new to me, Elena Golets. This fashion show took place at the picturesque area almost in the very heart of Andriyivskyy Descent.
I have been always loving this place that's why the promenade to Arcane Art Gallery, where the show was actually held, became a wonderful completion of a working day and was anticipating good emotions.
Подходя к месту назначения, я стала замечать людей, которые явно направлялись туда же, куда и я, но никаких опознавательных знаков по указанному адресу не было. Обычный подъезд на улице Десятинной, ничего не говорило ни о локации показа, ни об, упомянутой выше, галерее. Поэтому, когда я, согласно приглашению, поднялась на нужный этаж и попала в офис под нужным номером, моим глазам неожиданно открылась прекрасная картинная галерея, с просто захватывающей дух смотровой площадкой на втором этаже, о существовании которой я даже не слышала. Так что, прожив в Киеве практически всю свою жизнь, этот город не перестает меня удивлять.
On my way to the destination point, I started noticing people that were for sure walking to the same place as I did, but there were no identification marks at the indicated address. A normal doorway on Desiatynna street, nothing seemed to look like a location for a fashion show or the gallery mentioned above. That's why when I, according to the invitation, came to the correct floor and found the office with a correct number, an amazing art gallery appeared unexpectedly in front of my eyes with a breathtaking observation platform on the second floor. I have never even heard about existence of such gallery. So, after having spent almost my entire life in Kyiv, this city doesn't stop surprising me.

Галерея была увешана картинами также неизвестной для меня художницы - Галины Москвитиной, выполненные в стиле латернативного реализма. Сама художница объясняет свой стиль так: "Латернативный реализм — это творческое стремление, основанное на особенном восприятии художником света, использовании в живописи концептуальных образов, непосредственно связанных с понятием «свет, светимость, светоносность».
В общем, мало просто говорить, лучше один раз увидеть.
The gallery was covered with paintings of one more painter unknown to me - Galyna Moskvitina, that were created in laternative realism style. The artist herself explains her style as : "Laternative Realism, is a creative ambition based on a peculiar perception of light and the usage of conceptual images that are closely associated with notions of light, luminance and luminescence."
I guess, it's not enough to simply talk, it's better to see.

Как для модного показа, людей было немного, поэтому был всего один ряд, но показ прошел очень необычно. Дело в том, что галерея построена по принципу кругового движения и во время показа модели двигались не вперед-назад по подиуму, как во время обычного показа, а одна за другой по всей галерее, подымаясь на второй этаж и спускаясь вниз. Все было настолько динамично, что я с трудом успевала все рассмотреть и сфотографировать. А смотреть действительно было на что!
As for the fashion show there were not much people over there. That's the reason why there was only one row, but the fashion show was very unusual. The thing is that the gallery was built on principe of circular motion. This means that during the show models were not walking forward-rearward as during the normal defile, but were walking one by one through the entire gallery, going up to the second floor and down. The show was so dynamic that I barely managed to trace the looks and take pictures. There were really lots of things to look at!

Первое, что впечатлило - крой. Сложноскроенные платья, геометрические формы и сложные конструкции, а также грамотное сочетание цветов и настоящий калейдоскоп женских и мужских комплектов стали результатом талантливой работы дизайнера Elena Golets.
Мне очень понравилась коллекция. Я до сих пор под впечатлением от этого мероприятия.
The first thing that impressed me - the cut. The dresses with a complicated cut, geometric shapes and complicated constructions in addition to a skillful mix of colors and a real kaleidoscope of female and male outfits are the results of a talented work of a designer Elena Golets.
I, personally, liked a lot the collection and this event has left a lasting impression on me.
