Я до сих пор не написала о Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days, хотя это мероприятие прошло больше месяца назад, с 21 по 24 марта. Кто помнит, именно в это время Киев засыпало снегом.
Сегодня на улице было +25, и мне кажется, будет весьма символичным написать именно сейчас о невероятном контрасте погодных условий.
Я очень хорошо помню как в пятницу, 22 марта, началась настоящая снежная буря, а уже в субботу было парализовано все движение в городе.
Но наши люди не растерялись. Надеюсь все помнят горнолыжный комплекс "Андреевский", людей на лыжах посреди Крещатика, тишину из-за отсутствия машин и транспорта и о том, как публика в метро в момент преобразилась, так как метро стало чуть ли не единственным способом передвижения по городу.
I still haven't written about Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days, though this event took place more than one month ago, from March 21 to March 24. If you remember that was exactly the time when Kiev was covered with show.
Today was 25 degrees above zero and I consider this to be quite symbolical to write about such an extraordinary contrast of weather conditions.
I bear firmly in mind that that was Friday, March 22, when a real snow storm started. And on Saturday already all the traffic in a city was paralyzed.
But our people didn't get lost. I hope everyone remembers the ski resort "Andreevskiy", people skying in the middle of Khreschatyk, the silence because of lack of cars and traffic and how the public in the metro immediately transformed cause the metro had become almost the only mode of transport across the city.

Я помню как несколько раз буквально в последнюю минуту менялось расписание Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days и то, как мероприятие было фактически на грани срыва.
Несмотря на погодные условия и кучугуры снега, мое любопытство и желание попасть на это мероприятие все-таки пересилило и в воскресенье вечером я таки добралась до точки назначения.
I remember that the schedule of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days kept changing almost at the last minute and the event was practically at the edge of failure.
In spite of bad weather conditions and snow-hills my curiosity and my desire to come to this event overcame and on Sunday evening I finally reached the destination point.
За то время, что я не была на Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days изменилась локация проведения. Теперь фирменный бутик Mercedes-Benz на Московском проспекте, два раза в год превращается в Mercedes-Benz Fashion Palace и служит местом сбора молодого поколения украинских fashionistas.
К моему приезду, там было уже много людей, смогли добраться даже такие акулы модного мира как главный редактор украинского Vogue, телеведущие модных каналов, а также VIP-гости, которые вперемешку с многочисленными иностранными гостями, молодыми дизайнерами и блоггерами создали вполне пристойную аудиторию.
Атмосфера царила очень сумбурная, показы проводились один за одним и лично для меня смешались в одно сплошное пятно. Поэтому акцент я постаралась сделать на вещах, которые мне чем-то приглянулись, а не на коллекциях и дизайнерах в целом.
During the time I wasn't attending Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days the location had changed. Now the Mercedes-Benz brand store located at Moskovskiy avenue twice a year turns into a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Palace and becomes an assembly place for the young generation of ukrainian fashionistas.
When I got there, there were already a lot of people. Event such sharks of a fashion world like the editor in chief of ukrainian Vogue, fashion channels presenters, as well as VIP-guests managed to come. These people mixed up with a big number of international guests, young fashion-designers and bloggers created quite a decent audience.
The atmosphere was a bit mussy, the shows took place one after an other and for me personally mixed into a big continuos spot. That's why I was trying to put the main accent on the garments that attracted my attention and not at the collections and designers in general.
