Philip Lim & Alexander Wang. Elegant deconstruction from Philip Lim & Alexander Wang.

Two more collections that have attracted my attention with their unusual cut.

The key words in Philim Lim's collection are the complicated cut, the functionality and, at the same time, the wearability. Despite the unusual cut, garments don't look fussy, because silhouettes don't seem to be heavy and there is no loads of small details. The outfits look clean and quite concisely.

Alexander Wang used a very interesting deconstruction of graphic shapes. While looking at his collection we ask ourselves a question:"How most of these garments have been constructed?". Me personally, I see a moulage pattern drafting method, using this method, we can get such sharpness and purity of lines.

The only regret for me is using a big amount of natural leather. As I am categorically against killing animals, I'd prefer to see in front of me pieces made of fake leather. Nowadays, the developments in this sphere stepped far away and most of the garments made of synthetic leather  almost don't differ from those made of natural.
