Kiev Fashion Days

Продолжая тему украинской моды, хотелось бы поговорить о событии под названием "Kiev Fashion Days".
Это мероприятие интересно тем, что создано по принципам крупнейших мировых недель моды.

Основные цели:
- интеграция украинской моды в мировой контекст;
- продвижение украинских дизайнеров в международном fashion-обществе;
- создание платформы для свободного общения молодых талантов в области моды, искусства, рекламы и коммуникаций;
- поиск новых имен;
- развитие образовательного процесса, в виде лекций и мастер классов.

Подход, подобного рода, уже принес свои плоды. В октябре 2011 KFD получило поддержку Mercedes-Benz. Автомобильный бренд, с 2000 года, является партнером ведущих мировых недель моды. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week проходит в  Берлине, Нью-Йорке, Стокгольме и Москве.

Огромным плюсом KFD, я считаю, является именно ориентирование на молодое поколение творческих людей, которое хочет и готово расти и развиваться. Событие подобного формата, это всего лишь первый шаг, но шаг, способный изменить к лучшему украинскую моду.

Continuing the ukrainian fashion theme, I would like to speak about an event titled "Kiev Fashion Days.
This event is interesting because it's created on the world's biggest fashion weeks principals.

Main goals are:
- integration of ukrainian fashion into world's context;
- promotion of ukrainian designers in the international fashion-community;
- creation of a platform for free communication between young talents in fashion, art, advertising and media fields;
- research of new names;
- development of an educational process, in a form of lectures and masterclasses.

A touch, like this one, has already brought a result. In October 2011 KFD earned a support of Mercedes-Benz. An Automobile brand, since 2000, is a partner of leading world's fashion weeks. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week takes place in Berlin, New York, Stockholm and Moscow.

A big plus of KFD I consider its orientation towards new generation of creative people. The generation, who wants and is ready to grow and develop. An event of such format is just a first step, but a step which can change the ukrainian fashion for the best.
